Get to know Laura Leschewski

Laura brings more than 20 years of Human Resources experience to BlueStone Advisors, blending strategic insight with hands-on leadership. Her career spans industry, higher education, and military support services — all rooted in her passion for helping people and organizations thrive.

Before transitioning to HR, Laura worked within a university environment where she supported active-duty military personnel by translating their service experience into academic credit and leading a Soldier Leadership Program that expanded access to free educational opportunities. This work ignited her commitment to meaningful, people-centered service, which naturally evolved into a career in Human Resources.

Laura spent the majority of her HR career in the financial services industry, where she led initiatives across employee relations, benefits, training, payroll, compliance, performance management, and talent development. Her broad expertise also includes strategic workforce planning, organizational alignment, and culture cultivation. In her consulting practice, she partners with small and mid-sized businesses, helping them build HR foundations that empower growth, support their teams, and advance long-term success.

At BlueStone, Laura is valued for both her strategic guidance and her ability to connect with people one-on-one. She champions a culture where every individual matters — from client partners to teammates — and continually looks for ways to strengthen the firm’s impact in a rapidly changing business landscape.

Education & Accreditations

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
