Get to know Tracie Rasmussen

As Co-Founder and CFO of BlueStone Advisors, Tracie plays a multifaceted role within the firm, also serving as its COO and CTO. Tracie began her career in software development and quickly rose through the ranks to lead a national IT team, overseeing the development and support of a $1 billion company’s website. Her expertise in technology and operations laid the foundation for her transition into the insurance industry.

After meeting Andy and gaining confidence in his vision for the industry, Tracie identified a critical gap—a lack of cutting edge technology and female leadership in insurance. Recognizing the opportunity to drive innovation, she and Andy combined their complementary strengths in insurance, sales, technology, and operations to establish BlueStone Advisors.

Built on the principle that strong client-advisor relationships create greater value, BlueStone develops and executes tailored strategies that help clients optimize their investments with measurable bottom-line impact. More than a decade and hundreds of clients later, this philosophy continues to drive the firm’s success. Alongside her other responsibilities, Tracie oversees BlueStone’s Private Client portfolio, providing personalized insurance guidance to business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

Education & Accreditations

Tracie received her bachelor’s degree in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida, and her MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Finance and Economics. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Product Management from Northwestern University and maintains her CPRM (Certified Personal Risk Manager) insurance designation from the National Alliance.
