Rowanne Flood

Rowanne began her career in client services at Calamos Investments, where she was responsible for onboarding new clients and providing ongoing administrative and technical support. Eager to build a lifelong career and find strong mentorship, she sought guidance from Andy Royce, whom she had come to know through his office space in the Calamos building. At the time, Andy’s growing business needed client support, and he extended an opportunity: if Rowanne was willing to work hard and contribute to what he was building, he would teach her the insurance industry and mentor her along the way.

For over a decade, Rowanne has been instrumental in shaping the culture, efficiency, and client experience at BlueStone. She has taken on diverse challenges, developed a strong foundation of processes and procedures, and fostered an environment where employees and clients feel like family. Dedicated to continuous learning, she put herself through college by attending evening classes while working full-time. She has since earned three insurance designations and completed Dale Carnegie leadership training, further solidifying her expertise and leadership skills.

As Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Rowanne oversees the service teams within Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. She is also a member of BlueStone’s Executive Committee, where she plays a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and long-term vision.
