Isabelle Basil

With over 30 years in the insurance industry, Isabelle has gained experience across a wide range of roles, starting with her early days as a Claims Service Representative for BCBS and moving into Life Insurance Sales. As her career progressed, she transitioned into new business implementation, specifically focusing on HRA, HSA, FSA, and COBRA plan installation and eventually employer group benefits management.

In 2009, Isabelle joined Flexible Benefit Service LLC, where she spent six years managing the new business implementation process for multiple clients. Her responsibilities included overseeing the installation of defined contribution and COBRA plans, and working closely with clients on various aspects of consumer-directed healthcare plans like HRA, HSA, and FSA.

In 2014, Isabelle moved into the Employee Benefits space more directly, taking on the role of Account Associate with Alliant/Mesirow Insurance Services. For nearly eight years, she worked alongside Account Executives and client contacts to support the day-to-day benefits management and servicing for groups ranging from 5 to 250 employees. It was during this time that her skills and expertise in Employee Benefits truly deepened.

In 2023, Isabelle brought her decades of industry knowledge to Bluestone Advisors, where she now focuses exclusively on Employee Benefits—an area she is deeply passionate about. What drives Isabelle is simple: she loves serving people. Helping clients navigate their insurance needs, simplifying the complex, and making sure they feel supported is what she does best.

Outside of work, Isabelle is a proud mom to three grown children, a live music enthusiast, an avid runner, and you can frequently find her treasure hunting at estate sales on most Sundays.
