CHARITABLE DONATIONS
By insuring with BlueStone Advisors, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Through our Giving Tuesday program, BlueStone makes a monthly charitable donation on behalf of one of our clients to an organization of their choosing. The direction of the donation is theirs to decide. This is not an added cost; these charitable funds come from the commissions paid to BlueStone for each policy bound. To date, we have gifted to organizations focused on a variety of issues: pediatric brain cancer, breast cancer, hunger, animal rights, and more!

In addition to our Giving Tuesday program, BlueStone employees also enjoy giving our own time to help support our community and improve the lives of those around us. In the past year, we have been fortunate to be involved in a number of amazing programs, several of which are highlighted below.
Earth Paint
Founded in 2013 by Chris McCarthy, EarthPaint recycles old latex paint into a high-quality, sustainable product that works for any job - inside or outside. EarthPaint aims to do three things: make a great product people will love, clean up the dirty paint industry, and help our community by hiring adults with disabilities.
Northern IL Food Depository
As a proud member of Feeding America, the Northern Illinois Food Bank services 13 counties in Illinois with dignity, equity and convenience, providing 250,000 meals a day. They bring together manufacturers, local and corporate grocers, area farmers, corporations, foundations, and individuals who donate food and funding, and each week nearly 1,000 volunteers help to evaluate, repack, and distribute food.
Special Spaces
Special Spaces is an organization that creates dream bedrooms for children with cancer. Their goal is to provide children with a special space where they can not only sleep, but also play, heal and spend time away from the challenges of their illness. Each is a custom bedroom designed just for them - whether they are dreaming of a princess castle, a butterfly bedroom, a pirate ship or a sports theme, they transform the child’s existing bedroom into a place that only he/she can imagine.
